Designed to protect sensitive Tower Top Electronics, shelter based Electronics or active antennas where dc voltage is required, the GX Series is multi-strike capable, fully weatherized and provides the industrys lowest throughput energy. Engineered for dc voltage applications, the GX Series initiates protection at 15% above operating voltage, resulting in extremely low throughput voltage and throughput energy levels. Applications include coaxial cable installations when dc is required to pass through a lightning protection device in route to powering shelter-based Electronics or as a bias-tee when inserting or extracting dc voltages at the equipment level is a requirement.
