WiFi Ethernet radios and meets the new UL 497 standards. ALPU-ALVR is
the premier primary and secondary protector for your high-speed packet
network equipment from lightning and other transients. It is the only
Alvarion UL 497 listed protector for primary protection. The ALPU-ALVR
has low capacitance/impedance and insertion loss so that your packets
will reach their destination without disruption from your surge protection
system. The ALPU-ALVR is configured with three types of surge protection:
silicon diodes for over-voltage, fuses for power line cross, and PTC (positive
temperature coefficient) fuses for sneak current.
